Supporting Democratic Candidates

No one has done more than John Kerry and his PAC to help elect Democratic candidates for local, state and federal offices in the last three years.

Just look at what we did together: over $15 million helped raised or directly donated. Hundreds of candidates and committees. 46 states all across the country.

We helped prove that the Republicans who ran Washington had lost touch with the values and priorities of the American people. We worked to hold elected officials accountable for their choices, their votes, and their actions.

And together we supported candidates who aren’t afraid to take a stand for what’s right and stand by their promises to the American public. And these candidates, like Jim Webb, Sheldon Whitehouse, Joe Sestak, and Patrick Murphy, have brought much-needed change to Washington and to our country on issues like the war in Iraq, health care for all Americans, and the drive to build a new energy economy in this country.

And this effort continues every day. This upcoming election could be the most important election this country has faced in decades. If we continue down the path of the GOP, we will fall further behind in our drive to create an America that can meet the challenges of the 21st century. Our climate is in crisis, our health care system is in shambles, and our foreign policy is dangerously off-course.

Campaign For Our Country will work hard at every level fundraising for Democratic candidates up and down the ballot. We'll defend Democrats who are smeared by the right-wing smear machine, and we will point out ways the Republicans have failed this country.

Together, we can help push this country in a new direction and set up a Democratic majority that can bring real change to our politics.
